Bronze of Riace

The Museum is dedicated to preserving and developing the finest collection of restored naval aircraft in Australia’s heritage. Future plans include a theatre to enable the Museum to conduct seminars and conventions and also to enhance school visits. As funds become available, theme capsules will be added to the Main Museum Display Hall to depict significant aspects of Australian Naval Aviation, including stories of our carriers, squadrons and the men and women who served in them.

The Canadian Museum of Flight is a non-profit, volunteer driven museum dedicated to restoring, preserving and showcasing Canada's rich aviation heritage. It houses over 25 aircraft both static and flying.
The Canadian Museum of Flight is proud to present its fine collection of civilian and military jets, combustion engine aeroplanes, gliders and helicopters.
Many of the museum's collection of aircraft have been restored to flying condition and can often be seen at local aviation events.

The eight exhibit galleries, housed in the Donald Everett Axinn Air and Space and Space Museum Hall, contain 70 of Long Island’s air and spacecraft, arranged in chronological order.

The Solway Aviation Museum is run by volunteers from the Solway Aviation Society. The society owns nine aircraft - the most prominent of which is an Avro Vulcan bomber. This was the standby aircraft during the Falklands War, and visitors may climb up into the cockpit - a remarkable experience.
Various aircraft fittings and equipment including ejector seats and instruments can be seen, along with various RAF uniforms, radio and radar equipment.
On display in the museum are various aero engines from early piston engines through to modern jet turbine engines.
